Roy the mighty

Written by SupperSoppene at 09:58 4/10-2017

Who would have thought that Roy, a rider a rider whit a potato potensial, would be the one to bring home the tours to Soppene?

The wictroy in Perm in season 40 and the 4. place in Norway tour the same year, made Mestersopp to recharge his tf, hoping to use it at another go in Norway. But we never got the chance, droping down to div 4 and then beiing at the right spot at the right time Edmonton Red Deer Tour appeared.

A new tour, tailor made for my team. We was going to be all behind Torjus on this one. His slightly better tt ability and top speed was tiping the ods in his favour. But Roy dident see it like that. Giving up the dream about Norway tour, he worked hard in seecret to get in TF and snaped the captain spot from Torjus.

The tour was one big success for the team, scoring podium in all the stages toping off whit a double in the last stage and in the final GC standing. Roy was bringng home his second jersey to the team, whit Torjus getting on 2. place, it realy was no competition.

But Roy was not done, a trip to Hawaii was planed, the team had tried before to get a resoult in the classic, but neither Øyvind nor Anton was stong enouf. Then came Roy, whit the last bit of TF and superlegs he brought the wave back to the HQ, where it now is firmly placed side by side by the Tiger of Oslo.

All raice for Roy the mighty, the man that prove that top potenisal is not always needed.
